Fox Ventilator Knee/Shin pads £14.99

These fox knee/shin pads are really excellent value for money. Made from a hardened plastic compound they will protect you in most circumstances and inspire your riding skills with a bit more confidence.

The pads a comfy when worn and not too hot due to the fact that the backs are strapped rather than sleeved. The two straps are reasonably comfortable and keep the pads on. I do feel however that the Knee part can get in the way, if wearing the pads on an all day excursion, when turning especially on tight switchbacks etc.

That said that is the only grumble I have regarding the Fox Ventilators, they are excellent value for money abd I would wholly recommend them.

Fox Comp Elbow Pads

Fox Comp Elbow Pads £17.99

These Fox elbow guards are another fantastic value for money product from Fox. The pads are held in place by a sleeve arrangement and can be worn under baggies like Downhill tops. They are comfortable to wear, even on all day rides, so much so that I forgot I was wearing them.

The protection is via hardened plastic, which is ventilated to let out heat. I haven’t fell on my elbow yet while wearing them but they do seem as though they would do a very good job of protecting your elbows in a crash. Again wearing padding inspires confidence and keeps you safe at the same time, so I would recommend them.

Why spend more on elbow guards when Fox can provide these for such a great price.
